Dear Friends,
Thank you for your prayers. Our trip was nice we were able to visit with our family and several friends! But our hearts are still very burdened for our family! Especially our Grammie in her very discouraging, demanding, and depressing situation as she goes through her second divorce. Also for my Aunt Jen, she is very hurt and her heart is hardened to the truth and love of Christ because of the wrong example “Christians” in the family have set. I was able to have some good chats with her during our visit and I am praying that the Lord will water those seeds of truth and purity! Please continue to keep them in your prayers!
I am doing some soul searching… looking to the Lord for healing in some tough situations and relationships. I would also appreciate your prayers and encouragement!
He is truly faithful and will continue the good work He has started! I often loose sight of the “Eternal perspective” and get so caught up trying to figure out everything in life now! What I should do, where I should go, what I should spend my time doing… etc! Praise the Lord for His grace which He so abundantly shows to me! Oh, how I love HIM!
“The Lord God is a sun and shield. He gives grace and glory! No good thing will He withhold from them that walk uprightly!” -Psalm 84:11
Leaning on Him, Kristi

What I meant was did the book change your opinion or was it already that you were gonna wait. I myself am also waiting. It was something I really prayed about before and it was amazing. Keep up the faith with your Aunt I have a cousin and she is the same she has seen so much hurt in her life, and her parent swho are both chrisitians have been so wishy washy in her life that she has never had any real example of God’s forgiving grace. I am trying to show her but we have a complicated relationship. She was the one who introduced me to all of the vices I had in high school (smoking, drinking, and cursing) God has delivered me from these things but she still doesn’t see past what I used to do.
Kristi, I will keep your family in prayer, that you might be a mighty witness of God’s love to your relatives.
Keep seeking HIS will for your life and you cannot(that is, it is not possible) to go wrong, God has a plan already in store.
Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, niether have entered into the heart of man, the things that God has prepared for them that love him. 2 Cor. 2:9
ZELLman, don’t forget to finish the thought!
1Co 2:10 but to us did God reveal them through His Spirit, for the Spirit all things doth search, even the depths of God,
1Co 2:11 for who of men hath known the things of the man, except the spirit of the man that is in him? so also the things of God no one hath known, except the Spirit of God.
“because of the wrong example “Christians” in the family have set”
I know how that is.
But they will notice that you are different.
God bless!
Well….I’m studying Systems Engineering (and ROTC and Honors), so, naturally, I have lots of time on my hands. (Seriously, I don’t know what is wrong, but I do….
