Wow… it has been a while since my last entry! I suppose I had better post something!
For some reason I cannot think of anything interesting to write about! And anyway, it seems like my entire heart was wrapped up in the last entry!
Well, it has been another fufilling week (my new way of saying it has been busy… “fufilling” sounds much better than just plain “busy”!) Oh, my I am sounding like “Anne!” That seems to be happening quite a bit lately!
Play practice went well on Monday… the girls were really excited! Oh, I miss acting! I thought that being director would help cure me of my dramtic desire to be on stage, but I think it has only worsened it! I crack up everytime I say to one of the girls “better, but try it this way..” and then I proceed to act their line to show them! They all kind of grin at each other!
But, really I am enjoying directing… it is teaching me a lot. I think my highlight of the week was today at CPC: I did my first counseling session by myself (with the Lord of course, but I mean with out another counsoler!)
I was so thrilled!!!! It went very well, and I was glowing when I came out of the counseling room! Also I helped Grandma Kathy (one of the dearest, elderly counsolers) co-counsel an “Abortion minded client!” That was a first for me, but I was surprised at my boldness (I knew the Lord was working through me) and after a detailed and prayfilled session (and an ultra sound) the client chose LIFE for her baby!!!!! PTL!
It was a time of rejoicing for us at the center! So anyway, not much else going on! Well, I think Dad is calling me so I had better get going… maybe I will think of a more thought provoking post soon!
Love, Kristi
